We would like to introduce you to Steiny’s Restaurant and Banquet Hall. Steiny’s is a family-owned and operated casual restaurant in northern Macomb County.

We can accommodate over 150 guests in our main dining room, 25 at our bar and offer a semi-private space to host up to 30 for any event plus we have an adjacent 2,500 sq ft Private Banquet Hall. On our menu you have your choice of some great comfort food traditions, just enhanced Steiny’s way.

We hand-cut all of our steaks and fresh fish plus make all of our sauces from scratch; Truly Home Made. Steiny’s offers 23 Craft Beers on Draft and offer a fantastic wine menu showcasing many local wineries. We are open 7 days a week and offers daily lunch and dinner specials and a variety of live entertainment to please most. Cheryl Steinhurst Cheryl began her career in the hospitality industry at age fourteen with her first job as a Hostess at an Elias Brothers Restaurant in Michigan.

Restaurateur and sailing aficionado Chuck Muer spent 28 years at the helm of an empire of eateries in four states that grossed millions of dollars annually. No one at the company strayed from that path even when Muer, his wife, Betty, and two friends disappeared while sailing in the Atlantic Ocean during. Rocky created, built and established some of today's most successful restaurants for his personal mentor and best friend Chuck Muer until his untimely death. Prior to his death, Muer returned the favor by helping Rocky turn the former Northville Charley's into Rocky's of Northville and helping one of his protegees get a solid.

She then secured a position with the Chuck Muer Corporation. That is where she truly realized she had a talent and enjoyed great success within the hospitality industry. She continued in the hospitality field in Michigan as well as California by working in a variety of restaurants, clubs and hotels in operational and management positions. Over the years, she has found that the judgment and knowledge obtained through hands-on experience has provided her clients with the confidence that they are working with a professional who understands the very delicate balance between sales and service.

Because of the specialized service Cheryl has provided, she has found herself shoulder-to-shoulder with some of our country’s key players. One such event involved the President of the United States. She has also been involved with some of Hollywood’s top stars, numerous NBA teams and has had success with many top corporate clients. With each and every one of her clients she has executed flawless events followed by complimentary thank you letters.

When you come in to dine at Steiny’s; you will find Cheryl cooking on the line. She is the Executive Chef and Chief Operating Officer for Steiny’s Restaurant and Banquet Hall. Her high energy and she sincerely does enjoy designing and preparing every menu item and special that is offered at Steiny’s. This is truly what makes Steiny’s so different than any restaurant in the Shelby Township area. Cheryl’s founding principles of ‘made from scratch’ cuisine and offering exceptional service what makes Steiny’s great. What other restaurant can you go to and have Stuffed Cabbage in a banquet setting or know that the owner went to the state of Main to sample as many Lobster items before launching LobsterFest? The love is in the food and the enjoyment on each guest’s face when they dine with us.

Cheryl is known by her peers and in the community for ‘Giving Back’ there isn’t a local fundraiser or charity she doesn’t seem to be involved in; especially if it involves children. If they ask, her response has always been; ‘My Pleasure’ Giving back is among the most important and valuable things a person can do.

Jeff Steinhurst The name “Steiny’s” originates from Jeff’s childhood. He was called “Steiny,” a nick-name for Steinhurst. Owning a business is nothing new to Jeff. His family owned a restaurant while he was growing up. His father was a retired state trooper and managed the restaurant. His mother designed and implemented all of the recipes for the facility.

With all family members working and supporting the business it was a great success. His parents sold the business then re-retired. One of Jeff’s many talents is his ability to fix anything. If it breaks, you will find Jeff on site fixing it. He calls himself the ‘Chief cook and bottle washer’ he does it all when needed. Most of Steiny’s re-model in 2015 was executed by Jeff.
