Interesting.wonder why this lib is not released on the bfd3 engine - the quality of platinum samples products has always been above the pack but the kit demos seem programmed rather than played which I believe does not show the quality of the sampling or the way the engine deals with RR and vel layers. Excited by this new product too but.waiting for better demos or videos that would make the samples shine. How about hats handling by this engine?
As most of us know its where so many promising products failed.that d be great to see a video specifically on edrums playability for hats to convince us edrummers. Total confidence in Rail and his team too.but slightly worried by the 80s looking GUI;-). A highly promising product, but let down fast, reading that it's a standalone VSTi. No baked in ambience of any kind, intentionally. When each drum is dry and recorded separately, it doesn't sound like it comes from the same live acoustic space.
There's a certain euphoric magic that Toontrack and other Fxpansion studios seem to put into each of their addons, but that isn't present here and this isn't for me. Maybe if I had 2box it would be worth a buy, just for the dry samples. But again, I just want a completed drum kit sound, not a project.
